SOURCE-LINKED BUYING DECISIONS

Choose an ultrawide monitor arm by the whole load.

A larger maximum weight is only one part of the decision. Start with your exact display and the complete arm kit.

Which arm should you choose?

Choose a kit whose published lower and upper load limits include the complete mounted assembly. Then check display depth, curvature scope, screen-size limits, the mounting plate and the desktop. A 34-inch screen and a 57-inch screen should not inherit the same “ultrawide compatible” answer.

This comparison covers six recorded US single-screen configurations. It is not a ranking of the entire market and does not claim hands-on testing.

These rows are specifications, not automatic matches. In particular, the HD and VHD depth windows also have a stated 1000R display scope. An unstated condition remains unknown in the checker.

A lighter 34-inch display

A high-load arm may have a minimum above the screen’s weight. For the 34GN85B-B, also check the LX’s depth-dependent condition instead of using its headline capacity alone.

A 49-inch G9

“G9” is a family name. The G95C VA model has different published mass and mounting instructions from the 57-inch G95NC. Choose the full model before buying an HD or VHD kit.

Identify your G9 →

A 57-inch display

An arm with a hard 49-inch maximum is excluded even if its kilogram rating looks sufficient. The required Samsung bracket and its mass also affect a complete comparison.

Questions to settle before checkout

Is any VESA 100 × 100 arm suitable?

That establishes a mounting-pattern match only. The load, geometry, adapter, desktop and exact kit still need checking.

Does a stronger pivot always work better?

No. A display below the pivot’s published minimum fails that load check. Compare the standard, HD and VHD windows rather than choosing by the heavy-duty label.

Will a monitor arm make my desk deep enough?

It changes the footprint but does not establish usable depth or rear clearance. Plan the display widths and measure the actual clamp position separately.
